I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a very happy holiday season and a happy new year. I look forward to what 2012 will bring in the Pretty Little Liars fandom and for Keegan, along with this site! Have a safe and wonderful rest of 2011 and remember, we are almost down to a week until the return of Pretty Little Liars!

The site has a stunning new layout designed by the talented Mycah at Purple Haze Inc! With the site being over a year old, that also meant Keegan has been on Pretty Little Liars for over a year, so I wanted a little something to celebrate that. Hopefully everyone loves the layout as much as I do, as it will be up for quite a while. Would love to hear feedback on the new design.

On July 16th, 2010 I officially opened Keegan Allen Web. Honestly, I didn’t know what would come of the site at the time, whether people would visit or even like it. Keegan was new, though I had faith that Toby / Keegan would end up being popular I had no idea just how popular at the time. He had only been on a couple episodes when I started toying with the idea of opening this, then my amazing best friend Kim purchased keeganallen.org for me and thus Keegan Allen Web was born. Things started off small, there wasn’t much info to post about Keegan, there wasn’t much to cap or many photos to post.

We were only on one social network when we began, just Twitter. The day Keegan followed @keeganallenweb I was both stunned and excited. I don’t do this for recognition, I do this because I am a fan and want to show my support for his career, not to mention it’s fun. Still, Keegan’s support of this site has been a wonderful bonus and I am grateful every day for all the support he has shown. He once said thank you for supporting him, but I think really it shouldn’t be me who should be thanked. It should be Keegan. He has been gracious, kind and wonderful. He is truly appreciative of anything fans do for him, whether it is fansite or fan twitter and I appreciate that fact.

Thank you to all that have visited, sent in submissions or posted feedback on what they would like to see. Keegan has one of the most amazing fan bases, which is evident by all of the support every one of his fans show. Thank you to all 500+ followers on Twitter, 100+ people who liked our facebook page and the over 250 people subscribed to our YouTube channel. This site went from small on July 16th, 2010 to once cracking over 1200 people online at once just last month. Here is to year one and the many more years to come.

Keegan Allen Web is now on Facebook, what can you expect from our Facebook? A place that posts the latest site updates, plus a place where you can post on our wall to leave feedback or suggestions of what you would like to see on the site. So be sure to go like our page and while at Facebook if you haven’t yet, like Keegan’s official page.

There is a brand new layout up here at Keegan Allen Web. I figured with the new season and with the one year anniversary for the site coming up in July it was time for something new. The main layout uses images from Pretty Little Liars, mostly season two images, minus one. You might of also noticed a Tumblr and Facebook link on the navigation, currently those two lead nowhere. But tomorrow I will be setting up both a Tumblr and Facebook for this site. So stay tuned!

Most I’m sure know Keegan’s birthday is coming up in late July. July 22nd to be exact. For Keegan’s birthday, I’m planning to put together a digital scrapbook that everyone will be able to view and hopefully it’ll be something Keegan looks at as well. In order to make sure there is enough time to put it all together and with me having plans for the first part of July, I am launching this project now. As for what to submit you can submit anything from artwork, a birthday wish, fan messages or just your favorite picture of Keegan. All submissions must be sent in by July 17th. This way if there are several, I will have time to finish putting things together. All submissions can be sent in to web@keeganallen.org, please put Birthday Project as the subject.
